This Cookie Policy explains how Austin Matthews LLC, operating as CloseIntel.ai ("we," "our," or "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit and use our platform. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. This Cookie Policy applies identically on the apex closeintel.ai site and on every cobranded subdomain or custom domain operated through the Platform; see Privacy Policy § 10 for the full subdomain disclosure.
On your first visit to this site we show a cookie preferences banner with three options: Accept all, Reject all, or Customize. The Customize panel lets you toggle each non-essential category independently.
We group cookies into three categories:
Your decision is stored in a signed cookie named cic_v1 and persists for 12 months on the site where you made it. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the Analytics and Marketing toggles in the Customize panel start in the off position; you can still opt in.
To change a decision, clear the cic_v1 cookie in your browser settings — the banner will return on the next visit.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to the website operator. Cookies can be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
CloseIntel.ai currently uses only strictly necessary (essential) cookies plus a small preference cookie that stores your choice from the consent banner. We currently do not run analytics or marketing scripts. Should we add any in the future, they will be gated by the choices you make in the consent banner described in §2 above.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Authentication session managed by Supabase. Keeps you logged in. | Session / 1 year |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | PKCE code verifier for secure authentication flows. | Session |
| ci_identity | Cross-workspace recognition cookie. Lets the workspace picker remember which workspaces you've recently signed into. Carries no access. Cleared when you choose "Sign out of all workspaces". | 90 days (rolling) |
| cic_v1 | Stores your cookie preferences (Necessary / Analytics / Marketing). Signed so it can't be tampered with from the browser. | 12 months |
The cookies listed above are classified as "strictly necessary" under data protection laws including the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR. They are essential for the platform to function correctly and enable core features such as user authentication and session management. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they are exempt from consent requirements and cannot be disabled. Without them, the platform cannot operate.
When you interact with Stripe during the checkout or subscription management process, Stripe may set its own cookies on your device for fraud prevention and payment processing purposes. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not control third-party cookies set by Stripe. No other third-party cookies are used on our platform.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
Please note that if you block or delete the essential cookies listed above, you will not be able to log in to or use the CloseIntel.ai platform.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
