Category guide

The best AI sales training and coaching platforms in 2026.

The market has converged on the words. Every product here can say “AI roleplay” and “call scoring.” The differences that matter are whether the tool reads the calls you already record, whether the rubric is yours, whether practice is generated from real calls and re-measured on later ones, and whether the price is public.

Disclosure

CloseIntel publishes this page. We put ourselves in the same table under the same criteria, and where another product is the better pick for a use case we say so. Each row is dated; if a vendor ships something that changes a cell, tell us and we will correct it.

Method

How we picked and scored

Ten products that market AI-driven sales training, roleplay, or coaching to B2B teams, scored on eight criteria from their public sites, documentation, and independent reviews. We did not rank them; read the column that matters to you. Cells marked “Not published” mean the vendor does not state it publicly, not that the capability is absent.

01

Real-call ingestion

Reads the recordings your team already makes (recorder integrations or uploads) at scale, not one call at a time.

02

Practice modalities

Which forms of roleplay a rep can run: text, voice, video, or an on-screen AI buyer.

03

Your rubric or theirs

Whether scoring follows the buyer’s own sales process and phases, or a vendor-defined scorecard.

04

Loop closure

Practice generated from real-call weaknesses, and the same weakness re-measured on later real calls.

05

Manager and leadership surfaces

Coaching queues, team analytics, and executive views built from the same scored data.

06

Published pricing and entry size

Whether per-seat pricing and the smallest team size are stated publicly.

07

Security posture

Stated SOC 2 status and the stance on training AI models with customer data.

08

Evidence quality

How we know: the public material each row was checked against, and when.

The platforms

Ten platforms, eight criteria, the same questions for each.

Read the column that matters to you. Every cell is written from public material and dated; our own row lists its concessions under Best for.

CloseIntel

Publisher of this page

Closed-loop AI sales training and coaching: real calls scored against your own process, gaps turned into training and roleplay, the next call re-scored.

Best for: Teams of 5 to a few hundred reps that already record calls and want training and coaching to run off the same scored data. Not the pick if you need a CRM write-back, non-English calls, or a completed SOC 2 report today.

Also considered

Mentioned, not tabled

Chorus (ZoomInfo)

Replayz

A human-coaching service that has since been folded into Highspot; not a software platform to compare on these criteria.

Questions about this guide

How to use this comparison

You should not take it on faith. Every cell cites what it was checked against and when, competitors are given their honest best-for case, our own row lists our concessions, and we correct cells when a vendor tells us we are out of date. Use it as a starting checklist, then verify with each vendor.

Loop closure. Most products now offer both call scoring and roleplay. Far fewer generate the practice from each rep’s own scored calls, and fewer still re-measure the same weakness on later real calls and report whether it was fixed.

CloseIntel and Kendo publish per-seat pricing and start at small seat counts. Hyperbound, Second Nature, Gong, Mindtickle, and Allego are sales-led and typically sized for larger organizations.

The roleplay-first tools (Second Nature, Hyperbound, Awarathon, Quantified) work without recordings. The closed-loop and conversation-intelligence tools need recordings to score; CloseIntel accepts uploads and transcripts if you have no recorder yet.

Not with CloseIntel: it connects to Zoom, Fireflies, Fathom, Dialpad, and GoHighLevel and reads what you already record. Gong and Chorus are the recorder; the others in the table either capture calls themselves or do not use them.

From each vendor’s public website, documentation, pricing page where one exists, product announcements, and independent review sites, on the date shown in each row. Nothing here comes from private demos or NDA material.
