FAQ

The questions buyers ask before choosing CloseIntel.

Short, factual answers, written to be quoted. Pricing and terms match the pricing page and the Terms of Service; security answers match the Trust Center. If something here is out of date, the page it links to wins.

01

What it is

CloseIntel (closeintel.ai) is an AI sales training and sales coaching platform built as a closed loop, for sales teams from five seats up. It reads the sales calls a team already records (Zoom, Fireflies, Fathom, Dialpad, GoHighLevel, or an uploaded transcript or audio file), scores each call against the team’s own sales process across 15+ dimensions with the evidence quoted, and turns every gap into auto-assigned training and AI roleplay drills in a practice simulator with text, voice, video, and avatar buyers. Managers coach from a ranked queue and a weekly briefing, the scoring rubric is re-calibrated from what the team’s top closers actually do, and the next call is scored against that same rubric, which is what closes the loop between call scoring, training, and coaching.

Neither. CloseIntel does not initiate, join, intercept, or record calls. It reads the recordings and transcripts your team already produces (Zoom, Fireflies, Fathom, Dialpad, GoHighLevel, or an uploaded audio file or transcript) and scores them against your own sales process. Where conversation-intelligence tools stop at summaries and highlights, CloseIntel turns every gap into assigned training and AI roleplay practice and re-scores the next call against the same rubric.

Sales teams from five seats up: reps, frontline sales managers, and sales leaders in professional services, insurance, timeshare, SaaS, home services, and any vertical that sells by phone, video, or in person. English is the production language today. If a call cannot be scored, the scorecard says so up front instead of guessing.

CloseIntel is built and operated by CloseIntel, LLC, a Florida company headquartered in Tampa, founded in 2026 by Austin Farwell, founder and CEO. Sales: sales@closeintel.ai. Support: support@closeintel.ai. Security: security@closeintel.ai. The help center is at support.closeintel.ai.

Pricing and terms

Team, for 5 to 15 seats, is $499 per seat per month, or $4,990 per seat per year. Business, for 16 to 74 seats, is $349 per seat per month, or $3,490 per seat per year. Annual billing is ten months of the monthly price for twelve months. Enterprise, from 75 seats, is custom-priced and adds SSO/SAML, a custom domain, and a dedicated account manager. Every standard seat gets the entire platform; there are no feature tiers. Prices are in US dollars.

There is no free trial and no self-serve signup. The path is a 15-minute discovery call, then a 30-minute working demo run on your own recordings, with no credit card and no trial wall. If there is fit, we scope a rollout on that call, including a fitted plan for your seat count.

Standard plans are billed monthly or annually in advance on a 12-month agreement; Enterprise terms are custom. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and access continues through the end of the paid period. Section 5 of the Terms of Service is the binding text; if this answer and the Terms ever differ, the Terms win.

Every seat, on every plan: every presentation scored on your rubric across 15+ dimensions, auto-assigned drills plus the full course library, the practice simulator in text, voice, and avatar modes, manager triage with a coaching queue, weekly rubric calibration, and all your recorders connected. Each seat carries a monthly call-analysis allowance with two grace analyses; if a team runs past it consistently we scope the right plan together rather than metering silently.

Integrations

Native connections: Zoom, Fireflies, Fathom, Dialpad, and GoHighLevel. Otter, Google Meet, and Loom recordings come in through share links or uploads, and any MP3 or transcript can be uploaded directly. Once connected, new recordings flow in automatically and each one is scored, typically within ten minutes.

There is no native Gong or Chorus connector today; teams on those tools paste or upload the transcript, or connect the underlying Zoom or Dialpad recorder directly. Otter, Google Meet, and Loom work through share links and uploads. There is no Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, or Salesforce integration today, and CloseIntel does not write back to a CRM. Anything with an export can reach CloseIntel through the public REST API.

Yes to both. Paste a transcript, upload an audio file, drop in a share link, or import JSON from the dashboard. Developers can push transcripts and recordings and read analyzed calls back out through the REST API documented at closeintel.ai/developers, with scoped API keys, idempotency, and rate limits of 100 requests per minute per key and per workspace.

04

Security and data

Not yet. A SOC 2 Type II readiness program is in progress, targeting Q4 2026. Until the report is issued we share control documentation, our architecture overview, and a CAIQ-aligned security questionnaire response under NDA. CloseIntel does not offer a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement on standard terms, and regulated data is out of scope for the standard agreement.

No. The AI providers that process your call content (Anthropic, OpenAI, and AssemblyAI) contractually exclude API data from model training under their commercial terms. Your call content is processed, not learned from. Personal information is redacted before analysis by default, and workspaces are isolated from each other at the database level.

Anthropic’s Claude scores calls and grades them against your methodology. OpenAI provides embeddings for retrieval. AssemblyAI transcribes uploaded audio. ElevenLabs synthesizes the practice buyer’s voice. Data is hosted in US regions, with standard contractual clauses covering any cross-border transfer. The complete sub-processor list, with each vendor’s role, data category, and region, is published at closeintel.ai/sub-processors.

A rep always sees their own scores, coaching, and practice history in full. A manager sees scores, trends, and practice progress for their own team only; manager access is scoped to the team by design. Leaderboards and cross-team visibility are controlled by the workspace admin.

05

Versus alternatives

Gong and Chorus are revenue-intelligence platforms built around capturing calls and feeding summaries into forecasting. CloseIntel starts where they stop: it scores every call against your own sales process, turns each gap into assigned training and AI roleplay, and re-scores the next call. Gong’s newer roleplay is voice-only and configured by enablement rather than generated from each rep’s calls; Chorus has no practice loop. CloseIntel publishes per-seat pricing and coexists with your recorder instead of replacing it. Verified against public material on 2026-09-04.

Hyperbound and Second Nature are practice-first products: realistic AI buyers to rehearse against. CloseIntel grounds practice in your team’s real calls: the weakness comes from a scored real call, the drill is built from that call, and the same weakness is re-measured on later real calls. Second Nature has no at-scale ingestion of real calls; Hyperbound ingests calls but scores against a single scorecard rather than your own multi-phase process. Verified against public material on 2026-09-04.

For a one-off read, yes. What a chat window will not give you is the same rubric applied to every call, evidence quoted against your own sales process, scoring calibrated from your won and lost calls, drills assigned from the gaps, and manager and leadership views built from the same data. CloseIntel uses Claude underneath, inside that system.

Implementation

Most teams are up and running within a week. You do not need a documented sales process to start: our sales leadership team, with 30+ years of experience building and coaching sales organizations, works with you to craft one, and CloseIntel scores against it and refines it as calls come in.

Every call is scored against your process. Each gap becomes assigned training and an AI roleplay drill. Mastery is 60 percent practice average and 40 percent real-call scores, so a number only moves when the gain holds on real calls. Weeks later the same weakness is re-checked on new calls and marked resolved or recurred. That re-measurement is what closes the loop.
